Attorney Michael Hawkins is one of a very small number of drunk driving defense lawyers across the United States to be Board Certified for DUI Defense by the National College for DUI Defense. The test is gruling, but Attorney Hawkins was in fact the only attorney to pass it very quickly.

In part, Attorney Hawkins success in achieving certification is due to his years of experience in trying cases previously as a Fulton County prosecutor, and in part due to his tremendous preparation. Attorney Hawkins says that he owes his stellar trial record to out-preparing the prosecution. Obviously, that preparation has proved amazingly well founded in his nearly two-decades of practicing criminal law.
